Hey girl! Sick of looking at your ugly friends on Facebook, or having your news articles illustrated with depressing images of war and famine? Fret no longer; salvation is at hand in the form of Hey Girl. If you haven’t heard of it yet, I’m about to make your life 200 percent better. Hey Girl is an extension for Google Chrome that changes every image in your browser into a picture of Ryan Gosling at the click of a button.
Literally the best thing ever, ever, ever.
So, just like Steve Jobs realised everyone wanted a computer even though they didn’t know it, the creator of Hey Girl, Katherine Champagne [sic], has realised that changing every image in your browser window into an image of Ryan Gosling is an essential remedy for the human condition. The tyranny of pictures that aren’t Ryan Gosling poisoning our screens had gone on far too long.
As a heterosexual male, I think I can feel comfortable in saying Ryan Gosling is a fine specimen of a man. The perfectly preened abs, the perfectly coiffed hair, the perfect cheekbones, the perfect smile, the perfect blue eyes… The point is, life is much better with pictures of Ryan Gosling than without.
This could not be more chic if it were a litter of husky puppies. Hey Girl is now mandatory on all computers at Kernel HQ and it should be on yours too.
You can thank me later.
